Purple Shaftieuland
It is based in LaPorte, Indiana, USA. A set of coins from 1970, conceived by Mr. Bob Kolosa (Box 411, Westville, IN, 46391). There is the Full Shaft, the Half Shaft, the 1/4 Shaft, 1 Twist, and 1 Nudge. These five coins as a set is available in Brass and Unanodized Aluminum. These coins were his humorous way of expressing contempt towards all the non-circulating legal tender (NCLTs) and commemorative coins that were (and still are) being minted specifically for collectors. He basically thought that the only purpose of these coins was/is to separate us from our cash, and were simply a money-making scheme. In the broken English of Chief Weeskee Rooyoo Kissieutieu, these coins are “also call ‘transportation tokens’ because you buy and get taken for ride.” I reckon Mr. Kolosa (and the Chief!) would feel equally as angry about coinage from nonexistent/ephemeral/unrecognized “governments” (I didn't chance to ask him!). Ironically, Mr. Kolosa's coins have become sought-after collectors' items. As unique as they are, they really fit quite nicely into this family of unusual coins. Images of the coins can be seen at: http://69.55.175.34/dan46.html. On smaller coins "In Forinade We Trust 1970" is written while on  larger 38mm diameter coins, the name of 'Chief Weeksee Rooyoo Kissieutieu' is also written as shown below.
